DTN COMMENTS: The country is still relatively quiet at midday with just a 
few Southern bids on the table. Asking prices are around 127 in the South, 
and 203-205 in the North. Significant trade volume could be postponed until 
Thursday or later. 

Beef cutouts are mixed at midday (Choice 211.04 +.38, Select 192.79 
-.18), with light box movement (43.13 lds of choice cuts, 49.11 lds of 
select cuts, 0.00 lds of trim, and 29.55 lds of ground). Cattle futures are 
lower in both pits at midday, due in part to demand concerns, and a negative 
looking technical trend.
