USDA ESTIMATED BOXED BEEF CUT-OUT VALUES - as of 1:30pm

Based on negotiated prices and volume of boxed beef cuts delivered within 0-21
days and on average industry cutting yields.  Values reflect U.S. dollars per
100 pounds.

Boxed beef cutout values lower to sharply lower on light demand and light to 
moderate offerings. Select and Choice rib, chuck, round and loin cuts lower to
sharply lower.  Beef trimmings weak on light demand and light to moderate 
offerings.

Prices are steady with a steady undertone.   Supplies are moderate.             
Offerings are light to moderate. Retail demand improves and is light to         
moderate.  Distributive demand is light to moderate.  Market activity is        
slow to moderate.
