Afternoon - USDA ESTIMATED BOXED BEEF CUT-OUT VALUES - as of 1:30pm

Based on negotiated prices and volume of boxed beef cuts delivered within 0-21
days and on average industry cutting yields.  Values reflect U.S. dollars per
100 pounds.

Boxed beef cutout values lower on light demand and light to moderate offerings.
Select and Choice rib, chuck, and round cuts steady to weak while loin cuts 
weak to lower. Beef trimmings higher on moderate demand and light to moderate 
offerings.

Prices are 10 cents higher. The undertone is firm. Supplies are light to 
moderate, lighter on larger sizes. Offerings are light for current needs.
Demand into all channels is light to moderate. Market activity is moderate to 
active.
