Afternoon - USDA ESTIMATED BOXED BEEF CUT-OUT VALUES - as of 1:30pm

Based on negotiated prices and volume of boxed beef cuts delivered within 0-21
days and on average industry cutting yields.  Values reflect U.S. dollars per
100 pounds.

Boxed beef cutout values weak to lower on light demand and light to moderate
offerings. Select and Choice rib, round, chuck and loin cuts weak to lower. 
Beef trimmings lower on light to moderate demand and moderate to heavy 
offerings.

Weekly Egg Sets for the week ending 12/13 - 214 million, up 2% from eggs sets a 
year ago. Chick placement week ended 12/13- 177 million, up 3% from a year ago.

12/19 - New York Eggs
Prices are 10 cents lower on Extra Large and Large, 5 cents lower on
Medium.  The undertone is weak. Supplies are moderate to mostly heavy
for trading purposes. Offerings are moderate to heavy. Demand is light
to moderate. Market activity is slow.
