Afternoon - USDA ESTIMATED BOXED BEEF CUT-OUT VALUES - as of 1:30pm

Based on negotiated prices and volume of boxed beef cuts delivered within 0-21
days and on average industry cutting yields.  Values reflect U.S. dollars per
100 pounds.

Boxed beef cutout values sharply lower on light demand and moderate offerings. 
Select and Choice rib and round cuts steady to weak while chuck and loin cuts 
weak to lower. Beef trimmings sharply lower on light to moderate demand and 
moderate to heavy offerings.

Prices are 2 cent higher on Extra Large and Large, unchanged on Medium. The 
undertone is steady to full steady. Current offerings are light. Supplies are 
light to moderate. Demand is moderate to fairly good. Market activity is 
moderate.
