Afternoon - USDA ESTIMATED BOXED BEEF CUT-OUT VALUES - as of 1:30pm

Based on negotiated prices and volume of boxed beef cuts delivered within 0-21
days and on average industry cutting yields.  Values reflect U.S. dollars per
100 pounds.

Boxed beef cutout values higher on moderate to fairly good demand and light 
to moderate offerings. Select and Choice rib and round cuts steady to firm. 
Choice chuck and loin cuts firm to higher while Select steady to weak. Beef 
trimmings higher on fairly good demand and light offerings.

03/25 - Weekly Egg Sets & Chicks Placed 
Weekly Egg Sets for the week ending 03/21 - 213 million, up 2% from eggs sets a 
year ago. Chick placement week ended 03/21- 176 million, up 3% from a year ago.

03/31 - New York Daily Eggs
Prices are 12 cents lower on Extra Large and Large, and 10 cents lower on 
Medium. The undertone is lower. Supplies are at least fully sufficient to 
satisfy pre-holiday trade needs. The New York shell egg inventory is 9% lower 
than a week ago. Offerings are moderate. Retail and distributive demand is 
light to moderate. Market activity is slow.
